Shipping Damage

Our standard shipping rates include curbside delivery. The truck driver will lower the freight to the ground for you, and you are then responsible for moving the furniture inside and assembling it.  They will, in some instances, be more accommodating and move the crate to your garage if their schedule and your driveway allow for that, but that is not part of the standard service.

If the shipping crate appears to be damaged, please do the following:

  1. Call us at 614-484-0130 and explain the issue.

  2. Note any damages on the Bill of Lading before signing off.

  3. Take photos of the shipping crate before unpacking it, and take photos of any damage to the furniture after unpacking it.

If the furniture is damaged we will, as quickly as possible, repair or replace the piece(s) depending on the nature of the damage.

Estimated Completion Date

We assign an estimated completion date for every order.  This date is our best approximation for when we'll be finished building your furniture.  Once your order is complete, we will call to let you know and make delivery or shipping arrangements. Packaging and shipping usually takes 7-10 days. Central Ohio in-home delivery can usually be scheduled within a couple of days.

Cancellations / Refunds

We reserve a spot for your order in our production schedule as soon as you place it, which means that any subsequent customers may not be able to get their orders as soon as they'd like to.  We will allow cancellations within 3 days of the time the order is placed as long as we have not begun building your furniture.  Because we start working behind the scenes on your order as soon as you place it, we discourage cancellations. In the event that you cancel your order, we will refund the original charge less a 2.5% transaction fee.

Shipping Rates

The rates calculated in our shopping cart will be accurate for almost all customers.  If the size of an order (unusually small or large) or delivery location (remote, island, limited freight service, etc.) for a particular order would cause us to incur costs that far exceed what the online shopping cart projected, we will contact you with a revised shipping price and allow you to modify or cancel your order at that time.


We are 100% committed to getting you the furniture you have ordered.  If there is a problem or error, we will make it right by repairing or replacing the pieces in question.  Because the furniture is custom built for you, we do not accept returns.


All furniture built by The Bunk & Loft Factory is fully guaranteed against manufacturing defects for one year from purchase. Such manufacturing defects will be repaired or the furniture will be replaced at no cost.

For problems other than manufacturing defects, and for the life of the product, any repairs will be made at a cost of $10 per part. Such repair service will be performed at the Bunk & Loft Factory manufacturing facility, and the customer is responsible for bringing the parts to that location.  Local (Central Ohio) repairs can be made in home for a trip charge equal to our delivery fee.  Outside of Central Ohio we will repair or replace defective parts, and the customer is responsible for any applicable shipping charges.

This warranty is non-transferable.
